Classification of Amino Acids

Vegetarians consume plant proteins which, other than soy, do not have complete proteins. To compensate, they need to eat a variety of vegetable and whole grain rice, daily in order to obtain the needed complete protein to stay healthy.

For non vegetarins, hitting the RDI of daily protein is not an issue, as most meat contain complete proteins. Some sources of complete proteins such as cheese, eggs, dairy and soy.
