Everyone knows tht stress is bad for our physical and mental well
being. Having stress is never a good thing. It reduces our immune system and causes us to fall sick
easier.
Here are some methods to reduce and fight stress for a better and healthier body.
Sweat it Out
Instead of eating chocolates or smoke to reduce your stress, hit the gym to fight your stress hormones.
Exercising allows your brain to release the "feel good hormones", Endorphins, which helps in fighting against
stress and anxiety.
If you are in the office, take a walk to the panty or stand up and stretch your entire body. This improves blood
circulation to your brain and allows you to think better. In return, having more blood to your
head allows you to finish your project at a faster rate, which in turns eliminates work stress.
Eat less junk food to combat stress
If eating junk food such as doughnut removes stress, then the world will be a stressless place to live in.
Reduce your junk food intake even though they provide you an energy boost temporary.
With the extra concentrate boost due to the increase in sugar, the weight boost that comes along is a permanent
side effect.
If you need to eat something, try eating fruits such as pears or apples.
Cook Your Own Meal
Overconsuming of salt could give us with high blood pressure. Canned and processed food contains a lot of
sodium.
Instead of eating cup and instant noodles, canned food, try eating fresh food for a change or cook for
yourself.
Go to your nearest supermarket and buy fresh food and fruits and eat a meal with low salt intake to combat
anxiety.
Have Sufficient Rest
Having sufficient rest helps your body burnout stress. With ample sleep, your mind is able to control your
temper which allows you to have a more alert mind.
With an alert mind to do your work, your mind will be able to multi task efficiently, hence enabling you to
finish your work earlier.
By not bringing work back home, you are only then able to relax at home to recover from a day of work.
Stress is just like any other diseases. It is important to learn to reduce stress and manage stress
before it turns into a full blown, chronic disease.
If you are feeling pressured for an extended period of time, seek help from your doctor immediately.
